Peyton is far and away the most popular lesson horse at The Farm! From complete beginners to advanced riders, Peyton has something to teach everyone and he's always safe doing so. He has very comfortable gaits and always gets his rider to the other side of the jump.
Peyton has been half-leased by the same rider for the past three years, taking her from crossrails through pre-childrens. Sadly, she is off to college and Pey is on the hunt for another rider to show the ropes.
Though Peyton has show mileage through 2'6", we like to preserve him for years to come by limiting him to 2' in the show ring. Our ideal half-leaser will feel confident handling a horse on the ground and riding outside of lessons, with intentions to show in crossrails or short/long stirrup. Weekly lessons and at least one show every other month are required.
Half lease includes 3 set days per week (including lesson days). Responsible for half of all expenses to include board, farrier, and vet.

Kodak is a game pony jumper extraordinaire! He loves to zip around a jumper course and feel the wind in his hair with his little rider! For an ambitious kid or petite adult, Kodak is the winner in the .80m and below jumpers or even lower level eventing/pony club.
Kodak has experience competing in the hunters, jumpers, and equitation through 2'9" and has been to pony club and eventing camps as well. He loves to jump, has a pretty automatic lead change, and is pretty darn cute to boot. He is a forward thinker who loves to work, so he is not suitable for timid or nervous rider. However, he's an absolute blast for a confident and game rider ready to take on the world!
Kodak has some very simple maintenance requirements to keep him feeling his best. We would love to find him an ON-SITE lease rider, but would also be open to an offsite lease to an approved program. Lease fees depend upon job and location.

Hucks is a lovely 10 year old Thoroughbred gelding by Ready's Image. Though he has mileage through the .90m jumpers, Hucks is happiest with a non-jumping job where he gets to keep all four legs on the ground. He has been trail ridden, done some dressage, and been used for intermediate-advanced lessons all with various sizes of kids and adults. He's a great husband horse, too!
Whatever you decide to do with him, Hucks is his best self in some sort of program. In typical Thoroughbred fashion, he can be a little playful if left to sit for days on end between rides. He truly loves having a person to enjoy him and spend special time with, and he's a very kind soul who seeks out attention and people.
Hucks has some easy maintenance and is perfectly happy living in or out. He currently lives out with goats! He is available for sale to a loving family.
