Never stop learning.
Our year-round Riding School program emphasizes horsemanship, equitation, and safety, developing confident riders of every level from beginner to advanced.
We consider our program a delicate balance between a school and a sport. Our leveled curriculum is unique to our program and is proven to produce successful riders both in and out of the show ring. Students receive a comprehensive equestrian education, from horsemanship to riding and everything in between. We view our riders and horses as athletes, and cultivate an atmosphere of teamwork and camaraderie between all ages and levels of riders. We work with students as individuals to reach their goals and help them turn their dreams into reality!
Equestrian sports are shown to develop confidence, independence, responsibility, empathy, courage, and sportsmanship in riders of all ages.
It’s so much more than just heels down.
Lessons are offered six days per week in private and small group formats. Beginner riders start out in private lessons, learning the basics in preparation for joining a small group of riders of similar skill level. Riders with previous riding experience will start with an evaluation lesson to determine in which group they will best fit. Group lessons are shown to enhance learning by allowing students to watch and listen to others, develop their skills working around other horses, build friendships, and continue learning while their horse takes a breath.
All Riding School students are taught proper horse care skills as a major component of our curriculum. We are passionate about developing not just skilled riders, but skilled horsemen! Students learn how to and are responsible for catching, grooming, tacking, and untacking horses, as well as cleaning tack, at every lesson. Independence, horsemanship, and safety are paramount in our program.
